Horizon West’s New Library Opens Saturday. Plan a Visit That Works for You.
A new place close to home can make getting out a little easier. Horizon West’s new library opens Saturday, October 10, with activities and entertainment for all ages.
The branch also has an outdoor garden with a StoryWalk and musical instruments. That gives you a few ways to explore together, beyond finding a book.
Plan your visit
When: Saturday, October 10, 2026. Doors open at 10 a.m.
Where: 4657 Hamlin Groves Trail, Winter Garden, FL 34787.
Registration: No registration is required for the grand opening.
Questions: Call Orange County Library System at 407-835-7323.
Opening day may be busy. If crowds, noise or standing for long stretches make an outing harder, call before you go. Ask about seating, the easiest route from parking to the entrance and where you could take a break.
You can also let the celebration pass and visit another day. A short first visit is perfectly fine. Take a look around, find something that interests the person you’re with and leave time to come back.
